Keeping The Tradition Alive- Festival Sponsors Make It Happen
Times are changing, but there are always good things coming. As we look forward to fall 2023, there is a bright spot on the calendar that continues to bring much excitement and community involvement in the LBI Region as ever. It was because of the generous sponsorships the event founder, Southern Ocean Chamber received last year, the non-profit group was able to tackle the substantial task of reshaping a three-decade iconic event. The 109-year organization has been working and connecting with partners to continue reaching new audiences and bringing people together to celebrate the official end of summer on LBI. Preparations have been underway for this non-ticketed, free, pet-friendly event will be held on the Taylor Avenue Bayfront in Beach Haven featuring a local vendor village, live band lineup, chowder, and other specialty menu items for purchase.
This exciting day by the bay is a perfect sponsorship fit for companies and brands looking to reach over 10K attendees primarily representing New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Connecticut family markets. Keeping this festival going in the heart of Coastal New Jersey demonstrates goodwill from brands looking to expand their reach and cultivating deeper connections within our destination. Businesses continue to make a impact through support, as well returning sponsors Ritchie & Page, Michelob Ultra, Health Village Imaging as our Entertainment Sponsor, McMahon Insurance as our Volunteer T Shirt Sponsor, Fantasy Island as SOCA Community Circle, Bywatyr as Base Camp Seating Area Sponsor and New Jersey Division of Travel & Tourism. Benefits as a sponsor include 2 month lead time of promotion, marketing to key demographics through pre-event methods, interactive results through social media and in person event, and part of the day of activities.
The LBI Chowderfest will take place on Saturday, September 30 with a rain date on Sunday. For 2023, the Cook-off Classic will be presented adjacent to the vendor village featuring eight local restaurants vying for ticket holders vote for red and white chowder champion.
